Masai opens season with butterfly win

National team member Masai Zebe-Chaka kicked off his 2015 -2016 campaign with a win over the weekend at the ASA Masters Championships in Ponds Forge in Sheffield. Zebe-Chaka clocked a personal best of 25.35 in the 50 metre butterfly. He just the missed the short course ( 25metre record) of 25.28 set by fellow national squad representative  Nico Campbell  set at the 2014 World short Course Championships.

The speedster from the Plymouth Leander Swim club also secured more medals in the 50 metre backstroke where he clocked 28.45 to win the silver medal. He won another silver medal, this time in the 50 metre freestyle where he stopped the clock in 24.00.
