University of Georgia’s Trinidad and Tobago senior Kimberlee John Williams lowered her season best in the 100 yard backstroke as the Bulldogs extend their amazing home win streak on Friday November 13 against Emory.
Kimberlee lowered her 100 yard back time to 57.74 to finish 3rd in the event. The Sevilla native stopped the clock in 53.01 to finish 5th in the 100 yard freestyle. In relay action her Lady Bulldogs C team placed 4th in 1:46.01 aided by her butterfly leg timed at 25.74. Her A team in the 200 yard freestyle swam for exhibition only but were the 3rd fastest on the day with a time of 1:36.69 .John-Williams started the relay with a time of 24.71
The record of the Lady Bulldogs now stands at staggering 97 home dual or tri meet victories. The streak dates back to 1995. Emory added to that history as they were beaten 1805 to 86.5.
