Inayah Sherry’s Bullets still firing despite delayed start to 2016

The Barbadian swimmer Inayah Sherry had a delayed start to 2016 while representing Gettysburg College. The Bullets should have had their first meet in 2016 against Mary Washington on January 23.That meet was cancelled due to the blizzard affecting sections of the United States at that time. Their first opponent for the New Year was Swathmore who they battled on Saturday January 30. Despite not having a competitive swim since December 5 the Bullets shot down Swathmore 163 -99.

Her Bullets A team in the 400 yard freestyle relay which was comprised of Alllie Mueller, Jules Marble and Page Griesse placed 2nd to Swathmore in a time of 3:47.16.Inayah’s split was timed at 56.60.

In the 200 yard medley relay Sherry helped the team to 3rd on its way to a total time of 1:54.91 .Her split of 29.48 was the 2nd fastest of the relays. In the 50 yard freestyle Sherry finished 4th in 26.30.
