Her first medal would come in the 200 yard freestyle relay. In the morning Lauren swam the anchor leg to help the team to the Championship final with a time of 1:38.51. In the final, the relay order and line-up was adjusted and Lauren was given lead duties. That move would reap great dividends as she uncorked a 23.72 effort .That gave the Scots an early advantage as she was the only swimmer under the 24 seconds barrier. Teammates Sydney Torres 24.50, Gabby Beltrano 24.74 and Hannah Trieschmann 24.24 ensured a podium place as the team had a total time of 1:37.20. That performance won them the Silver. It also ranked them as the 5th fastest team in all of Florida.
