When asked about the meet and the outlook for the rest of the season Ramkissoon said

“It was nice to get the meet record and the win, more importantly 1:01.7 is a great in season time for me so I’m excited to go back to training and how good I can be at OUA’s and U Sport Champs. I’d like to be 59.5 and 27.5 in CIS. It’s a short course meet this year and I’m much better short course than long course so hopefully I stay healthy and continue good training to be able to get those times.”
